We determined the strength of magnetic fields surrounding various types of magnets.  We tested magnetic materials such as horseshoe magnets, bar magnets, solenoid electromagnets, and solenoids with metal cores.  We took readings with a magnetic probe and investigated the parameters that affect the field.
